Founder & Visionary, Latinas Evolving LLC

With over 20 years of leadership experience spanning healthcare, non-profit, and finance, Tayrin Tapia has earned her place as a trailblazer in Latina entrepreneurship. A graduate of SUNY Empire State College and UB’s Minority and Women Emerging Entrepreneurs program, Tayrin seamlessly blends academic excellence with practical expertise to empower Latina business owners. Her accolades as a community leader, award recipient, and mentor reflect her commitment to fostering leadership and driving meaningful change.

Tayrin’s story is one of resilience and purpose. Recognizing the lack of representation and cultural understanding in corporate spaces, she channeled her experiences into creating Latinas Evolving—a movement that celebrates the strength and potential of Latina entrepreneurs. As a single mother of two, she embodies the balance of ambition and authenticity, serving as a relatable and compassionate mentor to the women she uplifts.
